The Association of Professional Women in Construction (APWC) is a robust group of women encompassing all the facets of building amazing buildings in Texas. Our members include architects and engineers, general contractors and subcontractors, industry professionals, suppliers, and construction and project managers.

APWC Supports and welcomes all women in the construction industry because we are all an active part of a successful construction economy in Texas.

Association of Professional Women in Construction (APWC) is a robust group of women encompassing all the facets of building amazing buildings in Texas from A to Z.

Examples of members: Architects, Engineers, General Contractors of ALL sizes, levels, and specialties of subcontracts, industry professionals, suppliers Construction Management, and Project Managers. APWC supports and welcomes all women in the Texas construction industry.

What We Do

We offer business networking and educational opportunities to drive professional growth and help women rise to the next level in construction. We offer fun events to connect with other women and serving opportunities to make a difference in our community to drive personal growth. We want to empower our members to rise in all areas of their lives!

The Association of Professional Women in Construction was founded in Dallas, Texas, in July 2016 by a group of visionary women in the construction industry. These trailblazing professionals dedicated their time, talent, and resources to launch and grow an organization focused on supporting women in construction.

 

Our original Mission—“Building a stronger business network through empowering, educating, and encouraging women in the construction industry”—and Vision—“To become the springboard to advance the growth and profitability of professional women in construction”—laid the foundation for what has become a thriving and evolving network.
